Dairy Festival at Cows-N-Corn : : June 9th and 10th |

Where: Cows-N-Corn Dairy Farm, 5225 Catlett Road, Midland
Join the Leonard family at their working dairy farm. This great family event hosts
great food, a variety of homemade ice creams, and loads of fun for the entire family.
See the inner-workings of a dairy farm including their herd of 300 Holstein cows, and
the equipment used to farm their 1,800 acres. Have a cone of cream while the kids
visit the small animals and expend some energy in the "Play Pasture".

"Celebrating 400 Years of History"

Big things are coming to the 2007 4th of July Celebration at Great Meadow. In addition to our huge fireworks show, we anticipate hosting an aerobatic air show with The Flying Circus, a twilight concert with the Bluemont Concert Series, a special display of helicopters, and several displays celebrating our history and the 400th Anniversary of Jamestown.
Returning to delight crowds in 2008, the immensely popular NOVA Association of Rocketry High Powered and Model Rocket Launch, DCA Scale Model Airplanes and Derby Cross equestrian events will return as center stage entertainment.
Regular favorites will return including the petting farm, rock climbing wall, face painting, food vendors, ice cream, children's games, moon bounces and of course, pony rides.
The biggest development, thanks to the support of our community partners, the price of an advance General Admission Car Pass has gone DOWN!! This year, the price of the car pass in advance will be $20 - a discount of 30% ($10) from years past. You'll want to purchase early as the price at the gate is still $40. Tickets and reserved spaces are now available on the GreatMeadow.org store.
