This beautiful, open winery offers a large wine bar, underground
production facilities where guests can take a guided or self-guided tour and see
the wine being made in the barrel room, crush pad, and steel tank room. The winery
has some of the most breathtaking views in the region, situated just below the
Blue Ridge across from Little Cobbler Mountain and surrounded by cattle and horse
ranches. From the huge stone patio guests can watch the sunset over the mountains
and step off the patio directly into the vineyard. Everywhere you turn there is beauty
and calm. The estate-grown varieties include Traminette, Seyval Blanc, Merlot,
Chambourcin, Vidal Blanc, Petit Verdot and Petit Manseng.

by young professionals of the Capitol region, Capitol Vineyards offers
accessible wines for affordable prices. Our wines are made from 100% Virginia Grapes.

Tucked into the rolling mountains of the Virginia Piedmont, lies Cobbler

Delaplane Cellars is nestled on Lost Mountain overlooking the Rural
Historic Crooked Run Valley. Our winery was designed to complement
the architectural landscape of our agricultural community. One of the first
things you will notice as you enter the tasting room is the breathtaking
panoramic views. Our front doors as well as the tasting bar were crafted
from several majestic black walnut trees that were removed during
construction. You will enjoy 6+ pouring stations, a friendly knowledgeable
staff and an open floor plan with ample room. We offer carefully
crafted wines made only from 100% European vinifera varietals grow in Virginia.
Seating is available inside as well as on our terrace where you can enjoy
your favorite bottle of wine while overlooking the vineyards, valleys and
miles of beautiful mountain range.

The Desert Rose Ranch has been a nationally recognized breeding and
training facility of purebred Arabians and part bred Arabian sport horses for a number
of years. The owners have been wine lovers and wine makers many more years before that
and will now expand their current horse operation to include a winery facility.
They are surrounded by beautiful countryside and world class wineries as well, and look
forward to being included in this exclusive group. They plan on being a small boutique
winery that focuses on producing the best wines possible.

Located just outside of Warrenton, the Granite Heights farm encompasses
over 200 acres of land and forest that we are actively preserving as farmland.
Our wines, honey, and jams are very limited in production and therefore our heart

Hume Vineyards is about creating outstanding wines based on a spirit of innovation and
experimentation. Focused on small, hand-crafted lots, our wines embody the individuality
of the Virginia Piedmont. Located on a 50-acre historic farm from the 1880s, our tasting
room provides an intimate wine experience where you can learn about our wines and
farming practices directly from the owners/viticulturists/winemakers. We provide plenty
of outdoor seating and picnic grounds within sipping distance of the vineyards. We are
hard to find, but worth the detour.

Located on 50 pristine acres in Virginia's wine country, guests can enjoy
a glass of wine in one of our two tasting rooms, either at a cozy intimate table,

enjoy the surrounding views and the pond. Our wines represent a fusion

Morais Vineyards and Winery is a brand new winery that offers great scenery, memorable
experiences and a unique wine selection. We craft elegant and powerful wines that reflect
the place from which they originate. Located in Bealeton, VA, Morais Vineyards is the
perfect spot where you can enjoy a wine tasting with friends, or hold your special
event at our venue. We have a grand ballroom that can accommodate over 500 guests
and two tasting rooms. Our venue will be available for rental at the end of
September, 2011.

Dinners, and host Open Houses during each season of the year, which

Experience our unique wine tour and wine tasting, then picnic while
surrounded by picturesque views on a farm dating back to the 1740s.
The tasting room has a warm, friendly ambience for tasting and relaxing

shade trees and beside our Chardonnay vines. Light fare, wine-related
gifts, and local artwork may be purchased at the winery. Children are
welcome to play in our toy corner, and throw frisbees and balls outdoors.

Discover the First Family of American wine. There are few places that
can boast the depth of Virginia wine history that Philip Carter Winery
reflects. The family carries a two hundred and fifty year legacy as maker
of the first recognized fine wine in America. It was Charles Carter, who,
in 1762, sent the London Society for the Encouragement of the Arts a dozen
bottles of his Virginia wine. The society awarded Carter a gold medal as
the first person to make a "spirited attempt towards the accomplishment
of their views, respecting wine in America." Located in Hume, Philip Carter
Winery is seated on 27 acres of rolling hills in the heart of Fauquier
County's Wine Country.

Virginia's oldest Chardonnay producer, established in 1973, offering
internationally acclaimed wines from our historic 95-acre estate in the
heart of Virginia's Hunt Country. We offer abundant seating on the patio

the lawn around our two ponds are also available for customer use.

Three Fox Vineyards is all about “La Dolce Vita”, the sweet life. We grow
mainly Italian varieties on site: Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, and Pinot Grigio as
well as Cabernet Franc and Viognier from the south of France. Established
in 2002, Three Fox Vineyards sits on 50 acres of rolling countryside in the
middle of Virginia’s hunt country. We have meadows for picnics and
spectacular views all around. Light Fare is available.
Our meadow along the banks of historic Crooked Run is a peaceful,
tranquil place, with picnic tables, hammocks, and the soothing sound
of burbling waters.  We now have two carts which can bring you wine or
pick you up so as to avoid the walk.  Just check in at the Tasting
Room when you arrive, head on down to the meadow, and give the
tasting room a call if you need more wine or a lift!
