Join us this month for an exciting hands-on activity presented by the Oak Spring Garden Foundation in partnership with the Fauquier County Public Library- Warrenton!
Kids (ages 6-11) and teens (ages 12-18) are invited to get creative and learn about the incredible curative powers of plants like lavender, tulsi basil, lemon verbena, eucalyptus, calendula & many more! Participants will create self-care products like lip balm and hand warmers using dried herbs from the Biocultural Conservation Farm at Oak Spring Garden. It’s a fun and free way to learn new skills, get artsy, and connect with the natural world.
Each month, OSGF hosts a different free, nature-inspired activity at local libraries, offering a unique opportunity for young minds to engage with the environment in fun, interactive ways.
Walk-ins welcome! Go to your library’s website for more info at the link provided.
