Finley’s Green Leap Forward is a 501(c)3 organization started by Finley Broaddus, daughter of Old Bust Head Brewing Company founders Ike and Julie Broaddus. Finley passed away at age 18 from a rare cancer, but her exuberance for the planet continues through her fund. Finley’s Green Leap Forward supports efforts to combat climate change including tree planting and forest preservation, through annual grants on Earth Day. These efforts are now expanding to include support for regenerative agriculture. The movie will be followed by a conversation around regenerative agriculture and how a local grant program could be structured to provide the best support.
