**Historic Village of Orlean
Virginia, Est. 1815**

Community jam nights in Orlean have a rich history, beginning over a century ago when the Hinkley sisters organized them as monthly social gatherings for the village. Orlean, serving as the center and marketplace for neighbors, became known as the Orlean Market. Lori Udall, Mark, and Kia revived this beloved tradition more than a decade ago, and it continues to thrive. During the pandemic, these gatherings became an essential source of connection and support for the community.

The event runs from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and may be extended until 10:00 p.m. if participants wish to continue playing.

Every Friday night is Open Mic Night at the Orlean Market & Pub! Come enjoy good food, drinks, and wonderful company. Feel free to bring your instrument, or simply come to listen. Be yourself—we embrace it!
