Located in Middleburg, Boxwood Winery lies in the very northern part of Fauquier County. This state-of-the-art winery and vineyard was begun by John Kent Cooke. Boxwood produces red wine in three styles in the Bordeaux tradition from seven varities of grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Malbec. Visitors are welcome by appointment for a tour and tasting at the Winery. Tours last approximately 45 minutes and are limited to 6 people per tour.
