This is a free event and open to the public!

Fridays: December 12 & 19. 5-8pm

Saturdays: December 6, 13, & 20. 11am-3pm

Sundays: December 7 & 14. 1-4pm

Santa will be meeting with children of all ages! Once the children feel comfortable with Santa, they will have the opportunity to take photos with him and tell him what they would like for Christmas. Parents are welcome to take as many photos as they’d like. As in years past, children will be able to shop for their friends and family at Santa’s Secret Shop. Tickets will be available for purchase for $2 each upon entering the building. We will be accepting cash and credit/debit card payments this year. Individual gifts each cost 1 ticket and will be wrapped and ready to give.

This event is first come, first served, so be sure to dress warm and bring some hot cocoa to chase away the chill! The event is subject to change at anytime.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Come to Airlie for a delicious breakfast made by our Executive Chef and his team. When you’ve finished dining, take the family to meet Santa Claus! The kids can tell him gifts they desire this Holiday Season and the families get to take their own photographs as a keepsake to treasure.

Historic Area.

Discover our International Dark-Sky Park! Our evenings begin with a half-hour children’s “Junior Astronomer” program, followed by a discussion about the importance of dark skies and light conservation. Then join NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL) Ambassadors for a presentation on the latest news in space research. Finish the evening by relaxing and enjoying the night’s beauty with the members of the Northern Virginia Astronomy Club (NOVAC) as they open their telescopes to public observation. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and/or blankets. Feel free to bring your telescope or binoculars for your own exploration.
